A Deeper Appreciation for American Whiskey.

American whiskey covers far more ground than a single style. Bourbon takes its character from a corn-based mash and new charred oak containers, rye tends to be spicier and drier, and proof, age, barrel selection, and finishing can each change what ends up in the glass.

Bourbon Merchant is built around those differences. Each product page sets out the details we can confirm, such as producer, proof, and bottle size, so it is easier to see what sets one bottle apart from the next.

We are a retailer, not a distillery. We don’t produce, age, or bottle the whiskey offered here. Our role is to make the category easier to explore.
