Its origins trace back to Albert Bacon Blanton, who, as president of the Distillery from 1921 to 1952, developed a special reserve handpicked from what is now known as Warehouse H. Blanton’s Takara Red

Blanton’s Takara Red (750ml) is an exclusive single barrel straight bourbon whiskey produced solely for the Japanese market. This expression is noted for being aged approximately eight years. It is presented with a lighter cream-colored label and comes housed in a distinctive red box.

Blanton’s Black Special

Also crafted exclusively for the Japanese market, Blanton’s Black Special (750ml) is a single barrel straight bourbon whiskey. Similar to the Takara Red, this expression is aged for around eight years. It is easily identified by its black label and accompanying black box.
