Overview

The Old Fitzgerald brand has a rich history, initially gracing private clubs, steamships, and rail lines. By the mid-20th century, it became a popular choice for bars and entertaining. This particular 7-year-old release continues that tradition, offering a refined bourbon experience. Its production adheres to the rigorous standards of the Bottled-in-Bond Act, a designation established in 1897 to guarantee the quality and authenticity of American whiskey. This act requires the whiskey to be the product of a single distillation season, from a single distillery, aged for at least four years, and bottled at 100 proof. For another notable Bottled-in-Bond expression, consider the Heaven Hill 7 Year Bottled-in-Bond Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. The inclusion of wheat in its mash bill provides a distinctive profile, contributing to its smooth character.
